Dekmantel Festival 2016
The Amsterdam-based record label and DJ collective Dekmantel organises a niche electronic music festival in the Amsterdamse Bos. The driving force behind Dekmantel is a local team with a loyal following and global reach. That is why their online presence has to be impeccable. The responsive website and lively social media channels form the core of a clean yet dynamic visual identity.
Online and on site
The website is not just a place to sell tickets. It is also a place where the community should recognize that distinctive festival feel. Hence the bright color contrasts, distinctive font and moving layers. Additionally, the squares from the original logo are now more prominent throughout all media.

The Dekmantel font was originally made by Orpheu de Jong and revamped by Paul van der Laan.

Opening concerts
Visitors got the opportunity to go to opening concerts beyond the regular festival programme. These unique shows were in different locations. The campaign for this day was based on the same color palette as the rest of the festival, but with an additional intense blue for some extra attention.

Dekmantel Festival by Night
During the day the festival took place in the Amsterdamse Bos. At night the audience made their way to the Melkweg in the centre of Amsterdam. Social media content was marked with a hint of bordeaux.
