Dekmantel
Festival Amsterdam 2019

For seven years the Amsterdam based record label and DJ collective Dekmantel organises an electronic music festival in Amsterdam. We are with them since our start in 2017.

What started as a bold, fresh and straight-forward identity two years ago, and continued with a razzle dazzle twist in 2018, got a more layered and sharper approach in 2019.

Gritty rhythms and hallucinatory patterns marked the online and offline campaign and on-site printwork.

Signage in the Amsterdamse Bos contained flags, bar skirts, wayfinding and banners.

Next to that Studio Colorado designed the wristbands, crew shirts and (just keep on scrolling) merchandise.

In the social media flyers for these particular opening days the orange color was left out to emphasize the different nature of these days and its location around the IJ river.

Drum roll…

Before this all happened, in january to be precise, some posters and billboards popped up the streets of Paris, London and Amsterdam, to announce that something was about to happen. After some days of teasing, the line-up was published through 121 single posts on Instagram.
