Proposal art wall OLVG West

OLVG West is a hospital in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.

A large wall on the west side of the building was soon going to be the new emergency entrance. That's why the nondescript facade deserved some more attention, so the art committee of the hospital asked three artists to design a proposal that would enrich the wall.

Our proposal was inspired by the visual language in the nearby surrounding of the building, like the signs on ambulances, the graphics on the street, and especially the parking lots for the ambulances across the building.

Two squares up in the air, with the exact same measurements as a parking lot, form a new symbol that is open for interpretation.
